Savannah-Chatham police arrested two adults and three teenagers linked to a fight and shots being fired at a Circle K on Dec. 29.
Collin Stubbs, 19, and Yasmeen Jones, 17, and three 16-year-olds were arrested Monday after a video surfaced on Facebook showing an altercation and shots being fired at a gas station on the 400 block of Johnny Mercer Boulevard, said Darnisha Green, police spokeswoman.
Officers responded to a shots fired call at a gas station on the 400 block of Johnny Mercer Boulevard about 11 p.m. Reportedly, before police arrived, there was a physical altercation between Stubbs and a 16-year-old male, Green said. Allegedly, Stubbs fired shots in the air during the incident.
Investigators believe Jones and several additional juveniles and young adults were involved. Investigators also believe all parties are acquainted and reside in the Wilmington Island area. No injuries were reported, Green said.
Stubbs is charged with several gun related offenses, fighting in a public place and reckless conduct, and Jones is charged with affray and several gun related offenses, Green said. Three 16-year-olds were also charged with curfew violations and affray then released to their parents' custody.
This case remains under investigation.
