Savannah-Chatham police are investigating a shooting in Yamacraw Village that occurred just before 8 p.m. Sunday. Police found a 26- year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound at the 900 block of Yamacraw Village, said Eunicia Baker, Savannah-Chatham police spokeswoman.
The man was sitting on the porch of a Yamacraw Village residence when he was shot, Baker said. The man was taken to Memorial University Medical Center.
